Dear Colleagues,

after a year of absence, you can once again attend the Angiological Summer Academy in Berlin in 2024.

The event will take place again at the old location, namely the Spreebogen, not far from the Chancellery and the main train station. Since the Corona pandemic, the landscape of further education has changed significantly worldwide.

Online and hybrid formats have been established, but they reach their limits especially when practical skills are to be imparted.

Since its inception, the Angiological Summer Academy has thrived on imparting not only theoretical but also practical skills by experts in their field and on content relevant to training.

The “in-person” format will therefore dominate in 2024 and will only be supplemented by hybrid formats or recordings on a selective basis.

Furthermore, the Angiological Summer Academy fosters close personal exchanges and personal contacts with vascular physicians beyond national borders. We expect topic-related and potentially controversial discussions that do not or only sluggishly come about online.

Therefore, take advantage of the opportunity to combine current, practice-relevant vascular medical further education with a visit to the capital Berlin, which is always worth a trip.
